(In the Delabrere and Fife copies of the 1618 Baziliologia: A Booke of Kings according to H. C. Levis in his 1913 Grolier Club edition. 158, 170.) (William M. S. Rasmussen and Robert S. Tilton, Pocahontas: Her Life and Legend. Richmond: Virginia Historical Society, 1994. 11.) According to the Smithsonian, "This engraved portrait of Pocahontas [was] created from life during her time in England." Rasmussen and Tilton point out that the portrayal may be "unrepresentative" because it pictures her as the Virginia Company wanted her to be seen.
